East Hawaii Health is the trusted outpatient branch that operates under the umbrella of Hilo Benioff Medical Center. As a non-profit organization, we rely on funding from the State of Hawaii to provide top-notch healthcare services to our community. Recently, we were fortunate to receive a generous donation of $50 million from Marc and Lynne Benioff. This donation will go towards expanding our ICU, a new family birthing center, and establish a neurosurgery program which will be a new service for our organization and island. With these funds, we have also been able to establish new partnerships with Honolulu-based Straub Benioff Medical Center and San Francisco-based UCSF Health to enhance access to specialty care, including oncology and neurosurgery. We are grateful for the support of the community and are committed to providing the best possible care to our patients.
