Chayata Otsuka, DNP, APRN

Biography

“Chy” is a first-generation immigrant from Thailand. She is passionate about serving her community. Chayata is fluent in Thai and assists the Third Circuit Court as an interpreter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, learning new skills, and spending time with her goldendoodle Millie.

Chayata worked as a registered nurse at Hilo Medical Center before she returned to school to obtain her doctorate in nursing. Prior to joining orthopedics, she spent many years practicing full scope family medicine providing care to patient of all ages providing acute, chronic, and preventative care. Chayata joined our orthopedic group at the beginning of 2024 and has been a valuable asset ever since.
